Silhouette 46 Table lamp - several color choices
Siluett is a beautifully designed table lamp inspired by the iconic lamp symbol. The lamp also contributes with dimmable lighting that gives a brilliant lift to both the window frame and the sideboard as well as the hall dresser or the window frame and the reading armchair next to it.
From the beginning, the lamp was produced in a series of two different sizes (H=46cm & H=66cm). Both were available in 16 different colors. Unfortunately, production of the wide color spectrum and both models ceased early in the spring of 2023 due to various supplier problems. However, Bsweden has persistently worked on to be able to restart production of the luminaire and since late autumn 2023, Siluett will be available again. Now, however, only in the smaller size, in two designs.
We know the clear variant from before, while the frosted variant is a merger of the older Frost and Opal - hence OpalFrost. Other color variants that are still available come from the old production.
The Siluett lamp characterizes with its ingenious simplicity what we at Swedish Design Lamps call timeless design.

What material does the Siluett table lamp consist of?
The lamp consists of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), colloquially also known as acrylic plastic or plexiglass.
Can a colored Siluett table lamp fade if it is placed in a window frame?
No, the material itself is UV-resistant and is also used to make signs for outdoor use. So there is no risk of the color fading in an indoor window frame.
